BigSpec Optometry – E-commerce Website
March 08, 2014This week we launch the redesigned website for BigSpec Optometry which we created in year 2011.
Back in 2009, BigSpec started as a optical retailer in Klang Valley, Kuala Lumpur. BigSpec was a optometry service provider targeted on burly people. Burly people might find typical glasses are uncomfortable to them. BigSpec is specialized in tuning the glasses base on the face shape, the distance between eyes of the users.
As time goes, BigSpec is growing and providing range of products from contact lens to branded eye wears, and now start selling eye-wear online.
This project is to redesign the website to improve its layout and features and allow existing customer or BigSpec Member to buy from BigSpec Online Shop.
Design Rationale
The theme of the website will be aligned with the BigSpec Optometry logo which is cheerful in orange color.
E-commerce
BigSpec Optometry website now is equipped with a e-commerce system. Below are the powerful features included in the e-commerce system.
Contact Page
Google maps are displayed for each outlets of BigSpec, GPS coordinates are included so visitors can locate the outlets easily.

Facebook Fanpage
Facebook fanpage is used to gain more engagement with targeted clients, also as a platform to made announcement such as special promotion and new product launching.
